I’m moving to github.io and Jekyll

I’ve had j-griffith.github.io for a while and played with Jekyll a bit.  I decided I wasn’t doing myself any favors having things posted in multiple places, so it was time to consolidate.

I’m a big fan of github, I use it daily… so I thought I’d give it a shot as a hosting site for my blog.  So far it’s been fun to figure out Jekyll and play around with it.  I’ve also tried Hugo, but didn’t have as much luck with that.

I’m not sure that Jekyll is better/worse than WordPress in any way (WordPress is certainly super easy).  I figure I’ll try it out for a while and see how it goes.  I’d love to hear feedback from others that have switched, decided not to, or even better those that switched and switched back to WordPress.

Anyway… I’ll try it out for  abit, and in the meantime; check me out over on my github page!
